Having to quickly shut the boot and start the car to keep it shut as the boot wont open with the car running.
Please can you clarify if the boot fails to open on the button on the boot itself, or on the button for the boot on the remote, or both. 1. Removing the boot door trim - There are just four screws that can be removed, two are finger removable, the other two in the 'closing' handholds need a Torx driver. All locking and unlocking is done through the switch on the drivers door lock. Put the key in the drivers door and lock and unlock several times. See if the boot opens then. Or make sure you haven't hit the lockout button on the drivers door that stops anyone else from opening their doors. (Including the boot.)
